Dublin Core
Title
1980 Allegheny County Historic Resource Survey (54) 4th & Mill
Subject
Sherry’s Drugstore, Fourth Avenue and Mill Street — Coraopolis Historic Resource Survey, 1980
Description
Pennsylvania Historic Resource Survey form documenting Sherry’s Drugstore at the southwest corner of Fourth Avenue and Mill Street in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Dating from approximately 1900–1919, the three-story brick building is identified as Classical in style and originally served commercial purposes, with later mixed commercial and residential use. By the time of the survey, the structure had been substantially altered, including replacement windows, modified openings, a replaced cornice, and portions of the storefront boarded over. The survey rated the building’s condition below average and its architectural integrity as poor, but noted that it remained an important anchor for the block despite its deteriorated state.
