Description
Pennsylvania Historic Resource Survey form documenting the J. H. Gillis Furniture Annex at 1031–1032 Fifth Avenue in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, within the Central Business District. The two-story commercial building dates from the 1920–1939 period and is constructed of buff brick with Carrara glass and metal trim. The survey describes a flat roof, stone coping, brick panels, a nine-bay second story, and a first-floor glass storefront with green Carrara glass, metal trim, and double glass entrance doors. At the time of the survey, the building remained in commercial use and was described as architecturally undistinguished.
